Wire Belt Conveyor

Wire Belt Conveyors are typically used in applications where the product being conveyed releases fines that must be removed and in applications where minimal belt contact is desirable. The open weave of the belting removes fines by gravity. The fines are collected in catch pans and can be discarded or returned to the process. The conveyor pictured was designed for a batter/breading line. The v-groove casters were used to align the conveyor with other equipment on a common rail. The fines auger aided in the removal of fines. Hydraulic motors with flow controls are shown. A Teflon nose bar can be used near fryers.
